MS House : Kitchen Proposals

AN/DS is currently working on MS House design layout and the construction is expected to commence in a few weeks time. The existing kitchen was designed as a U-Shaped layout within a 9m2 space, using a tiled concrete countertop with solid timber paneled doors and cabinets.

AN/DS suggested that the U-shaped layout remained as the main concept, however taking into considerations the omission and introduction of windows in between the kitchen and the master bedroom. The master bedroom space was initially abutting the rear setback/garden, but later the access to the exterior was covered by the newly built kitchen, hence the existing windows remains as the only source of ventilation and lighting. AN/DS attempts to provide as much openings from the kitchen for it to be utilized by the Masterbedroom.

The consideration for the kitchen is decided based on the budget, maximum storage spaces and the efficiency of the layout and everyday cooking activities.
